DETAILS | The outer ray florets are made in satin silk dyed and coloured with indigo (Indigofera tinctoria), logwood (Haematoxylum campechianum) and cochineal (Dactylopius coccus). The central disc florets are made in satin silk also dyed with indigo and logwood. The calyx is made in silk velvet and leaves in satin silk dyed with indigo and rhubarb (Rheum Emodi). The silk thread for the stem is also dyed with indigo and rhubarb.
Each flower can be left on its own, placed on a vase, wooden base or glass dome.
Each of them completely handcrafted. Each of them unique.
