DETAILS | Silk daisies. In this case, the “heads” or central disc florets are hand made in silk velvet dyed with weld (Reseda luteola) and rhubarb (Rheum Emodi). The ray florets in satin organza are painted with cochineal (Dactylopius coccus) ink. Leaves and bracts in satin dyed with indigo (Indigofera tinctoria) and weld. The silk thread for the stems is also dyed with indigo and weld; and, when it turns into roots, with logwood (Haematoxylum campechianum) and oak (Quercus robur).

Each flower is completely handcrafted. Each of them unique.
